About Nzoghu Heritage Safari Camp

Our experienced guides lead guided game drives through the national park, offering wildlife viewing opportunities that include lions, elephants, hippos and a myriad of bird species. We also offer customisable safari packages tailored to your preferences.
Our Story
Nzoghu Heritage Safari Camp was built on a simple idea: that a stay beside Queen Elizabeth National Park should feel personal, not packaged. Set along the Bwera-Kikorongo Road on the western edge of the park, the camp grew out of the surrounding Kasese community's long relationship with this landscape — its wildlife corridors, its crater lakes, and the Rwenzori foothills that rise behind it. What started as a small collection of rooms has grown into a full camp, while staying close to that original intention: comfortable, unpretentious hospitality that puts the park first.
Our Team
Our team is drawn largely from the local Kasese District community, including guides who have spent years learning the park's game-drive routes, seasonal wildlife patterns and birdlife. From the kitchen to the front desk, the people who welcome you are the same people who call this area home — which is a large part of why guests describe their stay here as personal rather than transactional.
